Training Options

30 DAYS TRAINING / UNSTARTED HORSES: $1000

Each horse at Circle S has a program created for them at the beginning of their training to meet the owner's needs and expectations. Please bring up any goals or expectations when booking their training, timelines may change depending on progress and expectations. The owner is to provide grain & supplements, while Circle S provides hay, grain can be provided at an additional cost. Feeding is provided twice a day. 

30 DAYS MOUNTED SHOOTING TRAINING: $1000 + ammo

Training for horses who are already gun broke or for those that need to be gun-broke and patterned. Individual needs will be establish as training progresses, rounds are $0.65 a round, which will be documented and billed separately. Circle S is to provide hay, and can provide grain at an additional cost.

We use Curly's blanks for all ammo at Circle S.

TWO WEEK TUNE-UP TRAINING: $675

Designed more for horses who need a quick, "boot camp" type session or a refresher on something in particular. If this is for mounted shooting, rounds will be billed at $0.65 a round. The owner is to provide grain & supplements, which Circle S provides hay, grain can be provided at an additional cost. 

  • Owners supply grain + supplements

  • However: Circle S can supply grain for an additional cost. We currently feed Purina Omelene

  • Circle S supplies hay

  • Each training horse has a 12x12 stall with turnout available, weather permitting. 

  • The owners arrange the arrival/departure of the horse.

  • $100 deposit due @ booking to secure spot - half of remaining due at drop off and rest due upon pick up.

Please Note: Owners are responsible for any vendor fees incurred while in training with Circle S, including but not limited to; Farrier, Vet, Dentist, and Chiropractic/Massage Therapy. We cannot stress the importance of keeping up with your horses progress. We highly suggest visiting the farm and taking lessons to best set up you and your horse for success even after your horse leaves our program.
Owners must provide health records AND be up to date on vaccines, coggins, and health certificates when required.
